In todays world of influencers and online bragging it is easy to feel like hiding. Hiding the parts of ourselves that feel less than perfect. Sadness, insecurity, depression, anxiety, these are all human feelings and emotions. Bottling them up and hiding them from others does the opposite of what we hope, it isolates us.
Asking for help
Asking for help shouldn't feel so hard. Know that asking for help is necessary for growing. Once we begin to ask for help, we begin to permission others to do the same.
Sharing what connects us
The reality of life is that we will never share the same successes, achievements, wealth, or material possessions, however, we will share stress, anxiety, sadness, grief, and most of the other emotions we've been taught to keep hidden. There is connection in what makes us human, our emotions.
